Definitely my most favorite time of year for nails and for nail inspo.
We always have had the old faithfuls when it comes to summer nails, neon and brights, wild nail art and bling! But this summer I have noticed a new trend sweeping the nail world.
Let’s dive in!
Pastel Tie-Dye Nails:
Now, I am almost positive this started because of TikTok. Months before this surfaced I was watching countless videos of people in quarantine dying their clothes. Just about everyone I know has Tie Dyed something they own! It was bound to spread into the nail world. And I am happy it did!
Tie Dye has always surfaced around summer, but this time I am loving the softer hues. The pastel vibe is really special this year! From short nails to long, this trend is really for anyone!
Here are a few of my favorite looks from Pinterest.
This shape is my preferred shape so I am pretty in love with these. Though the colours are still a bit on the brighter side I had to grab these as an example.

These are quite bougie and I am loving it!! The hue and the matte combo are everything!!! I am pretty certain the “Dior” is a sticker or a stamp so don’t be too discouraged if your free hand version doesn’t come out the same.
How fun is this version? I love how they have switched it up here and done more of an ombre look. Same lovely pastel colors. The peach and teal are my fave!!
Don’t want to go full tie dye? This is a great way to keep on board with this trend and not have to fully commit!
And I think you get the idea. These are just the cutest don’t you agree?!
So Clearly my favorite nail trend of 2020 is the pastel Tie-Dye nails! Super fun and doable for all nail lengths, shapes and preference.
Summer is the best time to show off our nails. The crazier the better! Let’s have some fun with our nails this summer and give some new trends a try! I bet you will fall in love with the results!
