- Update May 2019: Figured out how to use the SelfieCom Bluetooth Selfie Stick Tripod with my phone case. Took a little adjusting but works just fine!
Hello guys, today I will be reviewing the SelfieCom Bluetooth Selfie Stick Tripod. I purchased this little number about a week ago from Amazon.ca and I am definitely putting it to good work.
At first glance this just looks like a selfie stick. But it does have a very clever little tripod design with a Bluetooth remote. The remote is detachable and good for up to 30 feet. Bonus: They give you and extra battery. Although, this little remote does have a power saving automatic shut off if you haven’t used it in 10 minutes. They claim that the battery will last me six months. I will update this page at the six-month mark!
Suitable with most smart phone devices. This unit expands from 2.5 inches to 3.77 inches easily, to accommodate even the wider phones.
Vertical and horizontal shooting options. The selfie stick portion is expandable to just under three feet.
You will not have any issues trying to carry this onto an airplane. It is quite compact. Fitting nicely in my average sized handbag and should leave you worry free while going through security.
Light weight, compact and easy to set up. The Bluetooth remote was very fast and easy to get going. Connects within seconds of me pressing the power button.
I love the rotating gear design that allows you to set this tripod up with one hand. Others I have come across (with a cheaper price point) need two hands to operate an awkward clamp of some sort.
You have a color choice between black or white. I chose the black just assuming that is would stay cleaner longer.
It’s under $25ca. I wanted something relatively cheap. But, not too cheap. It has a great price point and doesn’t feel like a cheap junk product.
Shipping was fast. I received my order within 5 business days.
It’s not a tall tripod. Only extending up to 3 feet, you would want to prop it up on something if you needed it taller than that. Though, I did purchase this solely for the selfie stick, the tripod was just a nice bonus feature that I find I am utilizing more and more.
I had to remove my phone case. I have a pop socket on my phone case and the cell phone holder would not attach to my case with the pop socket. Not a huge concern. But I am a bit clumsy so it is something to consider.
Though I love the lightweight design of this selfie stick. I would not set the tripod up in a wind storm. I’m sure it would topple over.
Would I recommend this selfie stick tripod to a friend? Yes!
Would I purchase this one again if something happened to my current one? As long as it wasn’t a defective issue, Yes!
I purchased the SelfieCom Bluetooth Selfie Stick Tripod to take selfies. Film my dogs running on the beach. To make nail tutorial videos. This product is fantastic for all the above. It’s for the beginner or someone who just simply wants a selfie stick. This one is perfect because it runs about the same price as the other comparable selfie sticks but has a few bonus features. ie: Blutettoth remote and tripod.
They claim on their page that if you have any concerns to contact them and they will address the issue immediately. Though I haven’t had to do this, it is a nice safety feature.
Cute, sleek and effective! A great purchase for under $25. I am quite happy with it. I really don’t think you can go wrong here. You won’t be disappointed.
I hope you enjoyed my review. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments regarding the SelfieCom, leave them below and I will get back to you right away. Any products you would like me to review? Let me know!
